Erectile Dysfunction
Explained
Erectile
Dysfunction or ED for short (sometimes misunderstood to be called
impotence) is basically seen as a man’s inability to develop or
maintain an erection (of his penis) long enough for successful
sexual relations. It’s a fact that most men will encounter this
condition some time in their life and although isn’t an actual
sickness, it can be a sign be a warning sign of other illnesses
that can be killers.
The purpose of
this site is so I can clear up the air about Erectile Dysfunction
once and for all. There are a lot of silly gimmicks and products in
the market that supposedly cure the ailment but I’d be hesitant to
believe anyone that is trying to sell you any sort of cure online.
I’ve been diagnosing these conditions for years and I’d like to
publish my knowledge online for everyone’s benefit.
There are many
causes of erectile dysfunction, some are psychological and some are
physiological which makes it a particularly hard to determine the
cause of erectile dysfunctions. It should also be noted that with
people of different ages the diagnosis for the conditions can vary
widely.
The psychological
issues may be treated in a number of ways, but most importantly,
the physiological ones are indicative of some other body
malfunction or condition which may be serious in nature, and need
medical attention. In most cases these will often require
medication. The physiological causes may be understood if there are
no normal erections during sleep. A normal healthy man usually has
on average 6 erections per sleep cycle, and one in the early
morning when testosterone levels are at their highest, normally
saluting the morning with a raised flag. However, if these
erections are not present, it can indicate some cardiovascular
serious problems such as diabetes, hypogonadism or a host of other
problems.
Hypogonadism is a
condition where there is an unacceptably low levels of testosterone
in the man’s system. This will affect the testicles and naturally
reduce or eliminate an erection because of the lack of the
hormones.

About
300,000 men each year are diagnosed with erectile dysfunction in
the
United States alone. A third of these men do not respond to the
conventional treatment with drugs such as Viagra, Cialis and
Levitra. A smaller percentage cannot be prescribed with drugs due
to pre-existing medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes
and hyperthyroidism. All these men are essentially left with the
option of penile devices that help them maintain erections - or, of
course, they could turn to herbal remedies.

Relationships |

Relationships do face problems at different point of time.
Whatever the problem it affects a sex life of the couples.
According to doctors and physiologists say that if a couple faces
sexual problems this could be due to emotional troubles or serious
illness. Mainly the cause behind all is lack of intimacy. They say
that sexual relationships need to keep the element of romance alive
as it is the key element for a satisfying sexual life. It is
impossible for a non-professional to bring out the exact reason for
a person's sexual problems but as the to doctors and physiologists

Understanding Erectile
Dysfunction |
|
It is
imperative to understand that not all erectile dysfunction problems
stem from psychological issues. There may be an underlying medical
cause in patients with erectile dysfunction. For example, a man
married a woman and later they found out that he is suffering from
erectile dysfunction. Concerned and scared, the woman urges the man
to seek medical attention. But because of shame and embarrassment
to be known that he has an erectile dysfunction problem at such a
young age, he did not go to the doctor.
