Treatments for Erectile Dysfunction

Generally when we talk about treatments here it’s for people who suffer from physiological erectile dysfunction problems. The current treatment for erectile dysfunction usually starts with testosterone normalization if the doctor understands there is some hormone deficiency. On the other hand if there is an underlying disease that is causing this problem then the illness must be tackled beforehand. These have been used for thousands of years by the Chinese to improve libido and are excellent all round body tonics. It has actually been proven scientifically that these herbs do increase the flow of blood and as a result will aid in gaining and maintaining an erection.

If all fails there are of course more serious remedies which are much more invasive. There are treatments that require surgery, such as penile implants (both permanent and inflatable). There are special vacuum pumps that can be used, that will (with the aid of an elastic band) retain a semi-erection for about 30 minutes.
